Introduction to Convention of States

About This Course

This course is an introduction to the Convention of States project, its vision, mission and goals. It explains the need for the States to come together under Artivle V of the United States Constitution to correct the overreach of the Federal Government.


This course is open to anyone with basic computer skills and an internet browser.

Paul Hodson

Paul Hodson currently works for Army and Airforce Exchange Service (AAFES) and serves as State Director/ Regional Captain 6 for the great state of Texas. He lives in Burleson, TX with his wife of 32 years, Michelle. He and Michelle have seven children, all home-schooled, and one grandchild (so far!)

Bryce Barras

Bryce Barras serves as the State Director for the great state of Louisiana. He lives and works as a computer technician in New Orleans, LA. He became passionate about politics while he was attending college at Southeastern Louisiana University and joined Convention of States in 2014.

Gene Cloud

Gene Cloud serves as the Legislative Liasion for the great state Florida. He is retired after 45 years in the Aerospace Industry as an engineer, manager and director. He joined the COS Project team as a volunteer in 2013. He and his wife live in Orlando, Florida. They have one daughter and two grandchildren.
